In East Nusa Tenggara Ngada precisely in the area, there is a unique way that made people to do homage and gratitude to ancestors services. Communities do this by holding a ceremony that Reba has become a tradition for generations.

This ceremony is an annual ritual made public. Usually done at the beginning of the year in January or February. In this ceremony, people ask for advice and prominent religious leaders have to lead a better life in the new year.

Reba is an annual ritual ceremonies are quite large. Prior to the celebration of Reba, the first held the opening ceremony of Reba or known by su'i uwi. At night, made dinner together while waiting for morning to come. Furthermore, in the morning celebration, the community together to taste the dishes that have been cooked and ready to eat.

Sweet himself exalted as it is considered as a food source that never runs out is provided by the earth. Therefore Ngada residents have never experienced food insecurity.

Reba performed with a festive ceremony for three to four days. Prior to execution of the dances and singing begins, held inculturation Mass led by local religious leaders. Blending elements of traditional and religious ceremonies are also accompanied by the choir of the church by using the local language.

The ceremony continued with a procession of dancers who dance gripping a long sword and stick colors on the edges. The canes grow festive with decorated white goat hair.

As an accompanist, a single stringed stringed instrument made from coconut shell or gourd forest used in this ceremony.
